However, since my mail is working, I don't think I want to "poke the bear", especially since I don't want to go through the process of exporting all my emails, and I sure don't want to have to reconfigure all those email accounts if something "goes wrong". While it does disappear from the list, if you close Preferences and then reopen it, the deleted Servers will have been added back. One is suppose to be able to highlight the server to be deleted and then click on the minus button. You do this by going toįrom the drop-down menu "Outgoing Mail Account" select "Edit SMTP Server List." ![]() To review, my email provider is changing the way they provide service so they advised me to change the Outgoing SMTP mail server. This appears to be a recurring problem since there are two old threads with the same thing.
